The Adventure of the Good Piano


Chapter 1 - The New Case





The Rangers are in their tree waiting for a caper. Chip is reading a Sureluck Jones story. Dale is sleeping, dreaming about cupcake. Gadget is fixing an invention, a rodent-sized dish washer.. Monty is telling a tale about his quest for the mystic provolone teddy bear. Zipper is flying. Without warning, they noticed an item in the paper, telling them that Rat Capone had stolen the Good Piano!
"We have to stop Rat Capone and destroy the Good Piano, or else he probably plans to get a wonderful ear of potency!" Chip said. So they went questing for Rat Capone and the Good Piano.
Meanwhile, in the subway system, Rat Capone explained his plan to his minions. "My plan is to to corner the world supply of cupcake ", explained Rat Capone. Being dumb, they asked if he also planned to enslave all zebras now that he had the Good Piano. Rat Capone said that he would not, because it was a moronic idea. They all laughed menacingly.

Chapter 2 - The Search




The rangers were looking for any sign the Good Piano or Rat Capone.

Chip traveled to the city museum. The museum is having exhibits on a pencil of poofy potency, Ancient Burma, and the well known egg of doom. Chip dilligently looks for signs of the Good Piano. Chip finds a knife corpse , undoubtedly suggesting that Rat Capone is hiding out in the subway system . He goes there to investigate. Dale searched the sewers. The sewers are flooded. Mepps is there. Wart is there. Sparky is there. Dale goes unnoticed. Gadget went to the Happy Tom cat food factory. The cat food factory is infested with a plunger. Gadget methodically checks the place. Gadget finds leotard leavings . Analysis of it with her gas chromatograph, indicates by trivial deduction that the Good Piano is hidden in the subway system . She goes there to look. Monty went to the park. The park is foggy. whales are running. Monty searches the location for clues. Monty sees nothing of interest. Zipper searched a city street. The street is busy. Zipper spies around the joint. Zipper doesn't find anything.

Chip searched the subway system. The subways are home to mole people. Fat Cat is there. Snout is there. Bubbles is there. Rat Capone is there. Mole is there. Chip watches Rat Capone lurking in rafters. He observes Rat Capone bragging about his plan to corner the world supply of cupcake . Chip goes unnoticed. Dale looked around the cola bottling plant. The cola plant still smells of death. Dale looks around the place and searches for shiny objects. He is diverted by seeing a squirrel. Dale discovered evidence of a missing machine and rocket tire impressions but couldn't connect it to Rat Capone. Gadget traveled to the subway system. Gadget spies on Rat Capone, holding the Good Piano. Fat Cat stabbed Gadget. Gadget is only very slightly harmed. Bubbles missed Gadget. Rat Capone missed Chip. Mole stabbed Chip. Chip is injured. Chip grapples with Snout. Chip tries to escape. Chip flees the battle! Gadget tries to escape. Gadget says "Golly! This is dangerous!" and gets away.. Monty looked around the Acorn Club. The Acorn Club is having a performance by a dancing nugget. Foxglove is there. Zipper searched the city. The city is knitted and concrete, not knowing of the diabolical plan threatening it. Zipper spies around the place. Zipper doesn't find anything.

So the Rangers knew about the location of the Good Piano.



Everyone gathered back at the Ranger Tree.

"I have a light wound, caused by Mole's attack! ", Chip exclaimed.

"Don't worry, you won't even have a scar ", Dale said. Dale treated Chip's tail injury. "There! All better! ", Dale proclaimed. Chip felt better. Chip thinks up a plan. Chip comes up with a tactical plan to beat Rat Capone and explains it to the others. They get the required bed of plastic doom ordered from France by bat mail. Fat Cat arrived at the Ranger Tree. Zipper approached Fat Cat.

"I like your impressive fine taste , Fat Cat", said Zipper.

"Thank you , Zipper", responded Fat Cat.

Zipper paused a moment, then spoke. "Fat Cat, I think that if we work together, I can help you work through the issues you have with your severe moral weakness ", Zipper said.

Fat Cat seemed agreeable. Their conversation was finished by their leaving to destroy Rat Capone and return the Good Piano.

Chapter 3 - The Battle




Getting to the subway system, they implement their attack. Snout is seriously injured. Snout perishes, shouting "Oy! The agony!" Bubbles is only very slightly harmed. Rat Capone is severely injured. Mole is smitten.

Bubbles missed Gadget. Rat Capone swatted Dale. Dale is hurt. Mole missed Gadget. Monty hurls a cake at Bubbles, but it is dodged. Zipper distracts Bubbles.

Bubbles hit Gadget. Gadget is slightly wounded. Rat Capone missed Monty. Monty grabs Mole . Mole is slighty hurt. Zipper dive-bombs Rat Capone.

Bubbles missed Zipper. Rat Capone missed Dale. Gadget tries to trip Bubbles using a rocket propelled tripwire. Monty throws a elephant at Bubbles. Bubbles is slightly wounded.

Mole missed Chip. Chip rapidly formulated a battle plan. "Zipper! Rat Capone's finger his is greatest weakness!", Chip ordered. Chip whips Mole. Mole is slightly wounded. Monty hurls a nearby mirror at Mole. Mole is greviously wounded. Mole collapses, clutching his pancreas. Zipper uses Fly Attack on Rat Capone. Rat Capone is hurt.

Bubbles bit Chip. Chip is gravely wounded. Rat Capone kicked Chip. Chip is wounded. Monty clobbers Bubbles with a happy harpoon. Bubbles is only very slightly harmed. Zipper uses Fly Attack on Rat Capone. Rat Capone is slightly wounded.

Bubbles missed Zipper. Rat Capone missed Gadget. Dale jumps on Rat Capone. Rat Capone is gravely wounded. Rat Capone dies of Dale's attack. Gadget goes to attack Rat Capone, but he is already dead. Zipper frustrates Bubbles. And so, with Rat Capone defeated, they got the Good Piano and escaped.

Chapter 4 - Epilogue




Although difficult they had prevailed and ensured that the Good Piano was out of Rat Capone's hands forever. Zipper and Fat Cat got hitched in a awesome ceremony in Russia. Sadly, Tammy was terminally ill with a plastic rod disease and soon died on the operating table.
