The Case of the Ice Piano of Death


Chapter 1 - The New Case





The Rangers are in their tree waiting for any caper. Chip is studying up on detection. Dale is sleeping, dreaming about super duper stick. Gadget is working on a project, a new kind of camera.The project is going well, because she had all the required parts in stock . Monty is cooking up a swiss cheese egg roll. Zipper is buzzing around. Suddenly, they saw a news report, informing them that Rat Capone had ilegally created the Ice Piano of Death!
"We have to thwart Rat Capone and reclaim the Ice Piano of Death, or else he may harm rock!" Chip said. So they went hunting for Rat Capone and the Ice Piano of Death.
Meanwhile, in the Ranger Tree, Rat Capone explained his plan to his minions. "My plan is to to kill all squirrels ", said Rat Capone. Being dumb, they inquired if he also planned to destroy the dish washer industry now that he had the Ice Piano of Death. Rat Capone said that he would indeed, and he already thought of it . They all brooded darkly.

Chapter 2 - The Search




The rangers were looking for any trace of the Ice Piano of Death or Rat Capone.

Chip went to the city museum. The museum is having exhibits on a fishstick of rulership, Ancient California, and the obscure pencil of might. Chip dilligently searches the place. Chip found Rat Capone's clothing , but couldn't link it to Rat Capone. Dale traveled to the theater. The theater is showing nugget Invasion. Bubbles is there. Dale goes unnoticed. Gadget searched the Ranger Tree. The Ranger Tree is dirty. Nimnul is there. Wart is there. Mole is there. Rat Capone is there. Snout is there. Lahwhinie is there. Gadget spies on Rat Capone, holding the Ice Piano of Death. Monty goes unnoticed. Monty traveled to Fat Cat's Casino. Critters are playing games and eating pie. Monty checks the place for evidence. Monty found car tire impressions. From his experiences with duck, he believed this is proof that the Ice Piano of Death is in the Ranger Tree! So, he goes there to check before telling the others. Zipper traveled to the theater. Dale trips Bubbles. Bubbles is slighty hurt. Zipper uses Quick Attack on Bubbles. Bubbles is only very slightly harmed. Dale tries to escape. Dale flees the battle! Zipper tries to escape. Zipper flies away, escaping the battle.

So the Rangers detected the location of the Ice Piano of Death.



Everyone gathered back at the Ranger Tree. Chip comes up with a plan. Chip comes up with a clever battle plan to vanquish Rat Capone and explains it to the others. Gadget builds the idiotic shoe of omnipotence they need for the plan. Zipper approached Mole.

"I like your simplicity , Mole", said Zipper.

"I'm glad you noticed, Zipper", replied Mole.

The discussion was finished by their leaving to destroy Rat Capone and return the Ice Piano of Death.

Chapter 3 - The Battle




Arriving at the Ranger Tree, they initiate their attack. Nimnul is smitten. Wart is severely hurt. Rat Capone is wounded. Snout is seriously wounded. Lahwhinie is seriously wounded. Mole is seriously wounded.

"Woah! It's that mouse!", shouted Rat Capone. Wart missed Gadget. Rat Capone missed Gadget.

Nimnul missed Gadget. Wart missed Chip. Rat Capone missed Gadget. Mole hit Chip. Chip is greviously hurt. Chip rapidly formulated a attack plan. "Dale! Attack the bad guys with your spice rack!", Chip ordered. "Gadget! Watch out for Rat Capone's eye! It's poisonous!", Chip cautioned. Chip attacks Wart. Wart is hurt. Wart dies, clutching his bladder. Dale attempts to befuddle Lahwhinie . Monty hits Nimnul with a ring. Nimnul is hurt. Zipper battles Snout. Snout is hurt.

Nimnul swatted Monty. Monty is slightly wounded. Rat Capone stomped Zipper. Zipper is severely wounded. Zipper is squished.. Snout missed Dale. Lahwhinie goes to attack Zipper, but he is already dead. Chip jumps on Mole. Mole is slightly wounded.

Nimnul stabbed Dale. Dale is greviously wounded. Rat Capone missed Dale. Lahwhinie kicked Dale. Dale is gravely injured. Dale insults Mole. Gadget hits Rat Capone. Rat Capone is maybe mortally wounded.

Nimnul bit Gadget. Gadget is severely injured. Rat Capone missed Monty. Chip fights with Lahwhinie. Dale taunts Mole. Mole is only very slightly harmed. Gadget bites Snout. Snout is severely wounded. Snout dies of Gadget's attack. Monty goes to attack Snout, but he is already dead.

Rat Capone missed Monty. Dale trips Mole. Mole is slighty hurt. Gadget detonates a small explosive on Nimnul. Nimnul is only very slightly harmed. Monty spars with Lahwhinie.

Nimnul missed Dale. Rat Capone swatted Dale. Dale is only very slightly harmed. Mole stabbed Chip. Chip is severely hurt. Gadget detonates a baleful grenade near Nimnul, to no effect. Monty throws Mole . Mole is severely wounded. Mole collapses, clutching his spleen.

Nimnul missed Dale. Rat Capone missed Dale. Lahwhinie yells at Gadget, "Your problems result from having unreasonably large head!" "It's not true "Gadget responds. Chip spars with Rat Capone. Dale slugs Nimnul. Nimnul is only very slightly harmed.

Rat Capone missed Dale. Dale fights Lahwhinie. Lahwhinie is smitten. Lahwhinie perishes, clutching her kidney. Monty hits Rat Capone with a head . Rat Capone is slighty hurt.

Nimnul stomped Gadget. Gadget is seriously wounded. Gadget, injured by Nimnul's attack, falls to her knees, clearly not long for the world and says " Golly! I've never seen my own heart before!" and dies. Rat Capone hit Chip. Chip is injured. Chip tries to surprise Rat Capone.

Chip jumps on Rat Capone. Rat Capone is severely wounded. Rat Capone is killed by Chip's attack. Monty goes to attack Rat Capone, but he is already dead. And so, with Rat Capone dead, they got the Ice Piano of Death and escaped.

Chapter 4 - Epilogue




Although hard they had prevailed and ensured that the Ice Piano of Death was out of Rat Capone's hands forever. It turned out that Gadget survivied her apparent death, the one that died was a shapeshifting alien. They had a funeral for Zipper who died of Rat Capone's attack. Apparently both Zipper and Mole died, so there is no insipid romantic subplot in the conclusion! Sadly, Chip was stricken with a bad brain disease and soon passed away during experimental pants therapy.
