The Case of the Ice Piano of Death


Chapter 1 - The New Case





The Rangers are in their tree waiting for any caper. Chip is studying up on detection. Dale is sleeping, dreaming about super duper stick. Gadget is working on a project, a new kind of camera.The project is going well, because she had all the required parts in stock . Monty is cooking up a swiss cheese egg roll. Zipper is buzzing around. Suddenly, they saw a news report, informing them that Rat Capone had ilegally created the Ice Piano of Death!
"We have to thwart Rat Capone and reclaim the Ice Piano of Death, or else he may harm rock!" Chip said. So they went hunting for Rat Capone and the Ice Piano of Death.
Meanwhile, in the Ranger Tree, Rat Capone explained his plan to his minions. "My plan is to to kill all squirrels ", said Rat Capone. Being dumb, they inquired if he also planned to destroy the dish washer industry now that he had the Ice Piano of Death. Rat Capone said that he would indeed, and he already thought of it . They all brooded darkly.

Chapter 2 - The Search




The rangers were looking for any trace of the Ice Piano of Death or Rat Capone.

Chip traveled to the park. The park is sunny. People are playing. Tammy is there. Dale traveled to the subway system. The subways are dark. Dale looks around the location and looks for shiny objects. He gets tired because he was thinking there would be a underwear here. Dale found impressions made by Rat Capone's finger , but didn't know what it meant. Gadget looked around the sewers. The sewers are flooded. Fat Cat is there. Gadget goes unnoticed. Monty looked around the Acorn Club. The Acorn Club is having a performance by Clarice. Monty checks the place for clues. Monty discovered fragments of a candle and plunger leavings but couldn't connect it to Rat Capone. Zipper traveled to the city museum. The museum is having exhibits on a magical nugget of omnipotence, Ancient Thembria, and the famous poofy gallbladder. Zipper searches the joint. Zipper finds unusual wig markings , and thinks it means Ice Piano of Death is in the Ranger Tree. He goes in that direction to look.

Chip traveled to an abandoned warehouse. The warehouse is cold. Chip carefully looks for evidence . Chip found evidence of a missing teddy bear , but drew no conclusions. Dale traveled to the park. Gadget traveled to a city street. The street is not busy. Gadget carefully looks for clues of the Ice Piano of Death. Gadget finds a spleen . Examination of it with her microscope, clearly indicates by simple induction that Rat Capone is hiding out in the Ranger Tree . She goes there to look. Monty went to Cat Alley. Cat Alley is devoid of cats today. Monty investigates the place for clues. Monty sees nothing of interest. Zipper searched the Ranger Tree. The Ranger Tree is cluttered. Nimnul is there. Wart is there. Mole is there. Rat Capone is there. Snout is there. Lahwhinie is there. Zipper flies about spying on Rat Capone, looking for the Ice Piano of Death. Zipper goes unnoticed.

So the Rangers knew about the location of the Ice Piano of Death.



Everyone gathered back at the Ranger Tree. Except of course for Dale, who was taking a dirt nap. This was because Dale died of a broken liver , sadly. Monty invents a plan. Monty's plan is to do like he did the time he quested for a blue cheese ring in the Soviet Union . Sparky arrived at the Ranger Tree. Gadget approached Sparky.

"I especially like your well-known resemblance to Doc Brown , Sparky", said Gadget.

"Thank you , Gadget", responded Sparky.

"I really care for your form-fitting Nomex jumpsuit , Gadget", said Sparky.

"

Sparky paused a moment, then spoke. "Gadget, together, we can overcome your unreasonably high estimation of your own intelligence ", Sparky said. Gadget was agreeable.

The discussion was interrupted by their leaving to destroy Rat Capone and return the Ice Piano of Death.

Chapter 3 - The Battle




Reaching the Ranger Tree, they carry out their attack. Nimnul is slighty hurt. Wart is smitten. Mole is greviously wounded. Rat Capone is greviously injured. Snout is hurt. Lahwhinie is severely wounded.

"Look! It's that chipmunk!", warned Rat Capone. Nimnul missed Monty. Wart missed Chip. Mole bit Gadget. Gadget is seriously wounded. Chip quickly thought up a further plan. "Gadget! You should disable Rat Capone's bladder!", Chip advised. Chip slugs Wart. Wart is greviously wounded. Zipper attacks Nimnul. Nimnul is slighty hurt.

Nimnul missed Gadget. Wart missed Zipper. Rat Capone missed Chip. Lahwhinie missed Monty. Gadget shoots Snout with her awesome rocket. Snout is maybe mortally injured. Zipper rams Snout. Snout is slighty hurt.

Wart missed Monty. Mole stomped Zipper. Zipper is severely wounded. Rat Capone missed Zipper. Snout stomped Gadget. Gadget is greviously wounded. Chip jumps on Wart. Wart is smitten. Monty roundhouse kicks Mole . Mole is slightly wounded. Zipper taunts Mole. Mole is injured.

Nimnul kicked Gadget. Gadget is gravely injured. Gadget, stricken by Nimnul's attack, falls to her knees, bleeding out and dies unpleasantly. Wart hit Chip. Chip is wounded. Mole stabbed Chip. Chip is only very slightly harmed. Rat Capone bit Monty. Monty is only very slightly harmed. Snout goes to attack Gadget, but she is already dead. Chip punches Wart. Wart is gravely wounded. Wart dies, clutching his injured rump. Gadget goes to attack Wart, but he is already dead. Zipper goes to attack Wart, but he is already dead.

Nimnul missed Zipper. Mole swatted Monty. Monty is slighty hurt. Rat Capone missed Chip. Lahwhinie bit Monty. Monty is slighty hurt. Monty body-slams Snout. Snout is gravely wounded. Snout collapses, shouting "Ouch! The agony!" Zipper dive-bombs Nimnul. Nimnul is slighty hurt.

Nimnul missed Chip. Mole missed Chip. Rat Capone missed Zipper. Chip fights with Lahwhinie. Monty is fighting with Lahwhinie.

Nimnul missed Monty. Rat Capone missed Zipper. Lahwhinie shouts at Zipper, "You've got zero importance to the plot!" Zipper buzzes angrily at Lahwhinie. Chip tries to surprise Rat Capone. Monty grabs Rat Capone . Rat Capone is wounded. Zipper hits Nimnul. Nimnul is slightly wounded.

Nimnul missed Chip. Nimnul yells at Chip, "Your issues stem from your having pathetic excuse for a tail!" "Sticks and stones! " Chip replies. Rat Capone missed Chip.

Mole missed Zipper. Rat Capone kicked Monty. Monty is smitten. Lahwhinie kicked Chip. Chip is only very slightly harmed. Chip whips Rat Capone. Rat Capone is greviously wounded. Monty flings a nearby hammer at Mole, but it is dodged. Zipper rams Rat Capone. Rat Capone is only very slightly harmed.

Nimnul missed Chip. Mole missed Zipper. Rat Capone missed Zipper.

Mole missed Monty. Rat Capone hit Monty. Monty is slightly wounded. Chip trips Mole. Mole is gravely wounded. Mole collapses, shouting "Ouch! The agony!" Monty flings a rod at Rat Capone. Rat Capone is severely injured. Rat Capone collapses, clutching his heart. Zipper goes to attack Rat Capone, but he is already dead. And so, with Rat Capone incapacitated, they got the Ice Piano of Death and escaped.

Chapter 4 - Epilogue




Although difficult they had triumphed and ensured that the Ice Piano of Death was out of Rat Capone's hands forever. Dale got a state funeral.They got some money by pawning his comic book collection. Gadget got her ashes scattered in Thailand. After the sad death of Gadget of Nimnul's attack, Sparky was terribly depressed.
